You can also add our amazing Foxcreek Black Walnut bow knife with this board so that you can carve all your meats with it, as well as your fruits and vegetables, and of course bread as well. Because we use a butchers meat blade on our knife it is a larger blade and it cuts everything. Plus it fits in your hand easily. It was designed for people with arthritis, carpal tunnel, MS, etc, but you do not have to have an ailment to use this knife. Our blade will stay sharp for at least 10 years with the stainless steel blade or 20 plus years for carbon steel. The stainless steel will not rust, but has a shorter life span. The carbon steel would rust if you do not take care of it meaning make sure you always dry the blade but it does stay sharper much longer. Just choose the size that is best for you.
This board is 1 3/8 inches thick but for the lager boards it will be closer to 1 1/2 inches thick.
