Cutting Board- Maple End Grain 2 inches thick

This is one of our thicker end grain cutting boards. It is a 2 inch thick maple end grain cutting board. End grain is a lot harder than top grain, so this makes a better cutting board because the end of the board is three times harder than the top or sides of a board so this is the end of boards turned upward.  Even after cutting on this board for say 5 years you would just have scratches and no deep gauges, plus it will not splinter when you cut on it. This beautiful end grain maple cutting board does not have a blood route or drip trail in the photo but we can add one to it. This board is smooth on the front and back as pictured, so if you want to you can cut on both sides you can or put those rubber feet on it so it will not slide around while cutting and only cut on one side. All of our Cutting Boards come with care instructions. Just choose your size. Please keep in mind that this 2 inch thick cutting board will be a heavier board. If you want a lighter end grain cutting board then  look at our thinner end grain boards online with or without blood routes as an option.  Keep in mind we do not stock the thicker boards and they do take min 4-6 weeks for us to make and ship these.
