The Mahogany End Grain Butcher Block top is 22 x 44 on this wood island. The Pine wood base has a tilt out trash can on the end so that as you are cutting on your hard end grain butcher block counter you can just swipe the trash right in the can. Every womens dream island! This butcher block top is designed to cut on! With it being end grain it is super hard and does not scar easlily. To clean you can just use soap and water and white vinegar for disinfecting. It has a door on each side of the island for easy access. The open shelves can be filled with cookbooks, favorite pots and pans, or mixing bowls. It is 38 inches tall.
